HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER?

PSTA offers various membership levels. The table below offers a high level overview to the various membership options, including related benefits. Interested members can complete their application by filling out the Membership Application.

Membership year is January 1 – December 31 (No proration for payments made after January 1)

*Board of Directors:
9 members comprised of 4 vendors and 5 from public safety
All member categories are eligible to sit on Board
Provide executive oversight of operations of PSTA in coordination with CEO
Initial seats filled by founding members that donate greater than Platinum level membership levels to help stand-up PSTA
Staggered 2-year terms
Subsequent seats filled by vote of all voting members
**The Executive Advisory Council:
A special body made up of up to 25 members (Platinum and Public Safety only) and headed by an elected Chair that provides advice, insight and recommendations to the Board of Directors
Comprised of a minimum of 7 (and up to 11) vendor members, 7 public safety members, and 7 agency members (1 of which is designed for a FirstNet representative)
Seated on a first come first served basis, with designated member category backfilled by next members in line for that category only to maintain overall composition percentages
Staggered 2-year terms
Chair is elected annually and participates in all Board of Director’s meetings
Council to meet separately at least quarterly

Fees Structure

Membership fees are based on type of membership, plus your annual company revenues.

Membership runs on an annual basis from January 1 – December 31.
